COMPOSITION:
1 ml of vaccine contains:
– Inactivated, purified Japanese Encephalitis virus ………………… q.s. 1 dose
– Thimerosal ………………………………………………………… 0.009 µg/ml
– TCM-199 solution without phenol red …………………………… q.s. 1 ml
INDICATIONS:
Japanese Encephalitis vaccination is necessary for all individuals of all ages, especially children in high-risk age groups.
Indicated for individuals from non-endemic areas traveling or working in endemic countries.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
– High fever or ongoing infection;
– Cardiac, renal, or hepatic diseases;
– Diabetes mellitus or malnutrition;
– Leukemia and other malignancies;
– Hypersensitivity disorders;
– Pregnant women.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Dosage:
– Children under 3 years: 0.5 ml / dose.
– Children ≥ 3 years and adults: 1 ml / dose.
Primary immunization: 3 doses.
– 2nd dose: 1–2 weeks after the 1st dose;
– 3rd dose: 1 year after the 2nd dose.
Booster: 1 dose every 3 years to maintain immunity. In endemic areas, annual booster is recommended.
Route of administration: Subcutaneous injection into the deltoid region.

Store and transport at 2°C–8°C.
